The winter wonderland that was created at Tavern on the Green for the Holiday Season was spectacular!  The crew worked all year ordering ornaments and planning the logistics feat necessary to make it all happen.
 
So special was this decor that some guests (especially after consuming a little Christmas "cheer") assumed that the ornaments were favors to which they could help themselves. The decorating staff learned years ago that they had to double-wire the ornaments to the tree branches and hot glue the caps.
 
We present to you a special boxed gift set of Tavern on the Green Christmas Tree ornaments from the tree in the Crystal Room from the 2009 Holiday season.  The color scheme of white, gold, silver and green epitomized the visual fantasy that Warner LeRoy always strived to, and most successfully, attained.
 
This 9 inch white box contains 10 authentic pieces from the 2009 tree along with two Tavern on the Green holiday post cards so that you can bring a bit of the Tavern home and remember the festive times you spent at this New York landmark over the years.
 
A tip from the Tavern on the Green visual staff--place the larger ornaments farther in on the branches, leaving the tips for the smaller more refined ornaments.
